China in New Mexico

This dream is a lil hard to describe...well one part is anyway.

So I went to visit my friend Michelle only she lived in the New Mexico/Arizona/Colorado region. Some where over there. When I got there I got to the apartment it was almost like a house. It had a basement and another floor. So I sat down on the bed and started unpacking things and Michelle comes in with a book wearing her pj's. She pulls her pj's down a lil half way and lays on the bed to start reading. (this is not rated R btw). She saw me looking cause I was thinking "uh WTF is she doing?" Then she turns around and ask me what I'm looking at. I responded "YOU, because we definitely don't do that back up north." She explained it was something they did because of the heat to help cool off. So whatever, I continued doing my thing. 

     Had a Dreamskip (things kind of magically fast forward) (And yes I made that word up) We were then in casual cloths chatting. Brad (her fiance) was there now also. Brad ended up leaving cause he had to pick something up.  I complimented Michelle on her looks that day and she gave me this look like I insulted her. Then she just stopped talking to me. So I decided to just go to my room. In order to get to my room though I had to walk up some stairs and ramps. Only it was like M. C. Escher's lithograph "Relativity" So I would have to walk/jump up/down/side to stairs, but no matter what, gravity would pull me towards them like it was a natural thing.

     When I got into the room I started drawing and moving stuff around. Was also watching some cartoon on TV but I don't remember what it was. It was funny though. I heard Brad come back into the apartment and brought some people with him. 2 girls, one of them was asian. Brad was injured but apparently it wasn't a big deal. Everyone decided to come into my room to watch a movie even though there were other TV's in the house. I remember thinking "dang, now I'm not gonna be able to watch that cartoon and draw". So I told them I could just watch it on my laptop in another room so it won't bother them. Then told them never mind, duh, I could just watch it in here on my laptop and watch the movie. The asian girl (although she never said it in the dream, felt as if she was Korean) suggested we go to the mall. Everyone kind of naturally agreed without even saying anything. 

     Dreamskip and we're outside in some grassy field behind some bushes looking at the mall. Only the mall looked like some project building. It felt as if we were spying on it and was about to raid it. Dreamskip and we're on a cliff next to a hole in the building. We all jump in and land on some stairs. Some kid to the side of said "COOoool" (I know, random, but that's what happened) We start going up the stairs and walk into an apartment which was also a store. It was like a regular small apartment. All of the items for sale were on shelves above the couches.

     At this point it was just me and the Korean girl. And everyone in the apartment was also Korean. I say hi to everybody then had a seat next to some guy with slicked back hair. He looked like a creeper and was staring at me funny. He then pulled out a knife and kept trying to attack me, but I kept blocking and pushing him away. I knocked the knife to the floor and pushed it away from him and told him no like he was a dog or something. I got up to leave and was at the door when he stood up with another knife that popped out of his jacket sleeve. I remember snapping on him saying "Look dude, we can throw down if you want to. Lets do this." He starts walking up to me slowly like we're about to have a knife fight like in the Beat It video. When he was a few feet away from me he stopped to play with the knife. Then he pulled his arm back and threw it at me. He started cheering like he finally got me. But the knife bounced off my chest like I was made of metal. I walked up and started strong-arming him. 

     and then I woke up.

I'm going to try and start doing quick sketches to go along as a visual aid. Not the whole dream, but just for certain moments that stood out to me.
